TTI has added new WIMA DC-LINK MKP 4 capacitors to its range of products. The new WIMA capacitors are available with capacitances from 5 up to 75µF and in voltages of 450, 700, 900 and 1100Vdc.
Designed for use in dc Link applications in power electronics, the capacitors couple outstanding high voltage ratings with low ESR and very high insulation resistance. The unpolarised contact configurations, eg. in 4-lead version or with screw-on terminal lugs, guarantee safe operation even at high current loads.
Constructed with a wound metallised polypropylene film element boxed in a plastic case with self-extinguishing epoxy resin sealing, they are entirely self-healing in cases of breakdown, and therefore have a high life expectancy.
