Digi-Key Electronics to distribute ASG’s LVIT linear position sensors

Alliance Sensors Group announces a partnership with Digi-Key Electronics to distribute its line of LVIT linear position sensors.

Since Digi-Key’s founding in 1972, Digi-Key has been committed to offering the broadest selection of in-stock electronic components, as well as providing the best service possible to its customers, aiding engineers through the entire design process, from Prototype to Production. This has led the company to be highly ranked year after year in industry surveys, in North America as well as Europe and Asia, in categories covering such facets of business as availability of product, speed of service, responsiveness to problems, and more.

Digi-Key’s top rankings in so many categories prove they are customer-driven. Its service and support systems have been specifically designed to respond to the needs of customers. These systems are continually reviewed and modified to respond to changes as it works to achieve the "ultimate" level of customer service.

Alliance Sensors Group, founded by the Schaevitz family, has continued to expand its line of linear position sensors using LVIT Technology reaching into the automation and fluid power market places as well as power generation and civil engineering. The LR and LV series of LVIT products are inductive, contactless devices with good stroke-to-length ratio giving a clear advantage over resistive potentiometers.

“Alliance Sensors is excited to partner with a sales channel as prominent as Digi-Key. We feel they can help us target the Automation marketplace in ways we could not handle directly,” says John Matlack VP of Sales and Marketing for ASG.
