Dasylab 5 Eases Exchange Of 16- And 32-Bit Worksheets

A new version 5 of the DASYLab data acquisition software contains both the 16- and 32-bit versions of the software, so users can easily exchange 16-bit and 32-bit worksheets between the different versions. If you use a 32-bit Windows system, you now have an easy path to switch to the 32-bit version of DASYLab. Supplied and supported in the UK by Adept Scientific, the new version can save worksheets in standard ASCII text format, making it easy to document fully a data acquisition application for quality control and ISO9000 qualification. Among the new modules is a special trigger for monitoring data within a specified tolerance range of the set value, and an IEEE 488 module to stream data to GPIB devices. A new chart recorder function in the 'scope module allows continuous, fast (up to 150kHz) monitoring of data, and new visualisation modules can display set point curves and tolerance bands. Enhanced graphics features make it easier to create real time application displays and custom reports.
