Not just a standard catalogue product

The products are almost exclusively manufactured to customer’s specifications and range for simple helical springs to complex multistage pressings. A wide range of materials can be used, from stainless steel, carbon steel, non-ferrous alloys, nickel silver, silver, gold and the latest generation of thermos-bimetals.

What sort of spring is required?

Goss produce over 365 parts annually which cover a wide range of spring types including compression, extension/tension, torsion and a variety of forms including conical, barrel, double torsion, double conical and bespoke wire shapes.

Nick and Dan Goss

Nick and Dan Goss recognise the need to “future protect” their engineering and manufacturing skill base and are very pleased to announce a new apprentice who has just joined the company. Whilst the new starter will continue a day release programme at Harlow College he will spend the rest of his time at Goss learning all aspects of engineering and machining operations.
