DELO offers webinars on adhesive technology

DELO has organised webinars aimed at beginners and re-starters in the field of bonding technology.

Bonding is considered the joining technology of the 21st century and allows for light-weight construction, miniaturisation, and multi-material design. Nevertheless, it is still a neglected topic in classical engineering studies. Wanting to close the gap, DELO organises webinars addressing beginners and re-starters in the field of bonding technology.

Modern adhesives are high-performance products. If a bond fails during later use, this is usually due to errors made in the production process. According to experts, about 90 percent of the errors occurring are based on insufficient knowledge of bonding. This is where DELO comes in with its webinars. The following topics and dates are offered:

• 14 November 2017 - 10.30 - 11.15 am (CET): Essential Basics of Bonding Technology
• 28 November 2017 - 10.30 - 11.15 am (CET): Proper Pre-treatment of Surfaces

The series of webinars is organised by DELO Academy, the training institution of the adhesive manufacturer. All lecturers have been active for many years in the field of vocational education and training in bonding technology.
