How to avoid guide wear on drive chains
In this video, igus demonstrates a wear test that it is currently performing at its test facility in Cologne, Germany. Results show that the iglidur stock plate chain guide has a low coefficient of friction and is therefore significantly more wear resistant compared to traditional materials. As the stock plate is made of regular iglidur materials, igus online tools such as the lifetime calculator are also applicable.
