Rittal’s 1U server rack fastening fixture from Conrad Business Supplies

Conrad Business Supplies is now offering the 1U 19 inch server racks fastener from Rittal.

The fastener for 1U height unit allows rapid screwing of extension components into 19in server racks (482.6mm) and eliminates the need for individual cage nut mounting. As a result, enclosure parts can be quickly installed without the use of any special tools. The fastening material consists of a pre-set 1U beam with three cage nuts and a centre attachment. It complies with the EIA 310 standard.

The handling is very easy. To fasten, the device is simply pushed from inside the extended enclosure onto the profile rail and locked in place. After that, the rack or other mounting components can be fixed with M5 screws and the integrated connection delivers potential equalisation.

The fastener is made of steel and can easily be removed from the profile rail. It can be installed and reused several times. All enclosures from the Rittal product range are prepared for use with the 19in fastener. Conrad Business Supplies delivers the server rack fastener in units of 24 pieces.
