EMC filters for single phase applications

Schaffner introduces three new series of single-phase filters designed to meet the highest performance demands for single phase filters.

The three new high performance filters are an extension to the standard variants of the FN 2010, FN 2030 and FN 2090 series.

The new components were developed to fit the existing housing sizes and are the most compact, highest performance chassis mount filters ever introduced by Schaffner.

Holger Urban, product Marketing Manager at Schaffner comments that “these are the highest performance filters Schaffner has developed packaged in such a small housing. Now featuring AC and DC approvals the FN2000 family is now ready for current and future applications”

The new filters have an operating voltage of 250 VAC/VDC (max.) and are available in a current range from 1 A to 60 A (30 A FN 2030, 20 A FN 2090).

In addition to the new high performance versions, the complete family now has DC approval (ENEC and UL) to 250 VDC.

The filters have all the required safety approvals and are compatible with the RoHS Directive.
