electronics for piling operations
When Warrington firm, Altis needed a robust and waterproof enclosure to
house its fieldbus equipment, it turned to Fibox whose polycarbonate and
ABS enclosures can be easily adapted to meet application needs.
Altis manufactures fieldbus based systems that monitor and control piling
rigs on construction sites. Its 'Redbus' systems, which are housed in
customised Fibox Piccolo PC D85T enclosures, monitor and control the
critical balance between piling auger extraction rate and the rate of
delivery of concrete, which fills the bore as the auger is withdrawn.
The Piccolo enclosure is IP67 rated to meet the rigours of the
application, while its transparent polycarbonate lid provides easy
visibility of the LED displays within.
