Enclosures Pass The Blowtorch Test

Enclosures pass the 'blowtorch' test Fibox's new modular component enclosures (MCEs) have passed a Swedish fire retardant test that involved a 30-second close encounter with an oxy-acetylene blowtorch! The test requires that no burning drops fall from the housing, and in the event of ignition, that it will self-extinguish within 30 seconds. The IP65 sealed, polycarbonate housings accept multiple membrane cable glands, and can be fitted with gland plates for application-specific wiring, both during assembly and in the field.
