Ansys has announced that it will host the world’s first commercial computer-aided engineering (CAE) conference dedicated to the building services industry. Providing a forum for the application of engineering simulation technology specific to the industry, the European Built Environment CAE Conference (EBECC) will be on June 5 and 6, 2008. The event will be hosted at Haberdasher’s Hall, Smithfield, in London.
Featuring presentations and discussions given by industry-leading companies and expert users of technology from Ansys, EBECC will showcase the very latest state-of-the-art multiphysics simulation technologies and innovations in CAE-related disciplines, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for airflow modelling and finite element analysis (FEA) for structural studies. Technology for the fully integrated application of multiphysics simulation to give maximum efficiency and design benefit will also feature.
