PushPull interface added to connector leads to savings

Harting added a PushPull interface to its M12 PCB angled D-coded connector, enabling direct Ethernet transmission from the cable to the printed circuit board leading to savings in assembly time.

The new M12 PushPull PCB connection comes in an angled D-coded female variant which facilitates the use of space-saving switches with Fast Ethernet communication at up to 100Mbit/s. The direct M12 PushPull connection to the PCB minimises the need for additional wiring and saves assembly space as well as time.

The new connector typifies the growing trend towards miniaturisation in industry – not just in the development of smaller components but in the fact that these devices in turn can be used in ever-smaller installation spaces.
