Sigmatek has introduced the new ETV 1961 control panel with its thin and modern vertical design. This terminal combines visualisation and control in a single unit and uses the extremely fast real time Ethernet bus VARAN.
The control panel is conceived for complex visualisation and control tasks. The keyboard has been replaced with a modern touch screen, which saves hardware costs and provides more freedom for machine visualisation.
The high value 19“ TFT colour display with touch screen offers almost infinite possibilities for visualisation tasks, as well as operating comfort when entering process data and parameters.
The powerful processor combines high speed, reliability and economy. An internal Compact Flash serves as the storage medium for the operating system, application and user data. With its compact 462 x 360 mm angular design and 57mm depth, the ETV 1961 is suitable for mounting in the control closet as well as direct integration into the machine casing.
The integrated VARAN bus allows simple and flexible connection of periphery devices and I/Os. Several interface connections are already "on board". In addition to standard connections such as CAN and Ethernet, two VARAN bus interface connections provide optimal communication with the machine and fast data transfer. I/O modules and components can be controlled in hard real time using the VARAN bus. One of the two USB connections is located on the front of the terminal.
