HBM has launched its multi-functional, compact SLS sling scale for mobile weighing of hospital patients with maximum capacities of 200kg or 320kg. The battery-operated direct-display device is available both in legal-for-trade and non legal-for-trade versions.
There are two legal-for-trade versions: a single-range version with 200kg maximum capacity with 100g resolution, and a dual-range version with an additional weighing range up to 320kg with 200g resolution. An accompanying PTB (German Metrology Institute) test report for OIML R 76 is available.
The legal-for-trade version is intended for the clinical and home-care sectors and is supplied with various, easy-to-mount accessories enabling the scale to be integrated into existing patient lifting systems. In addition, the SLS can be used in industrial applications for mains independent weighing, force measurement or counting.
The non legal-for-trade version has a counter enabling the scale to facilitate inventory counts in addition to weighing components for commissioning.
The SLS can be easily adapted to any installation and application. Users can be authorised to set the local g-factor following proper training.
Special certification enables HBM to perform an initial manufacturer’s verification for the scales as an additional service and provide all accompanying documents for legal-for-trade scales.
