Valve Terminals For The Food Industry

Festo has chosen the PPMA show (NEC, September XX-XX) as the UK launch pad for a new valve terminal targeted at the food industry. The CDVI (clean design valve island) offers food-grade hygiene compliance, wet wash-down tolerance, resistance to cleaning acid and alkali agents (to Class CRC4) and direct machine mounting, outside of the control cabinet for easy access. developed in conjunction with fluid packaging giant, Tetra Pak, the CDVI is constructed from durable polypropylene on an anodised aluminium baseplate, with all stainless steel fixings and chemical-resistant PVC seals. the modular design incorporates eight valves into the basic terminal block configuration, expandable in modules of two valves. Valve formats currently available include 5/2-way, 5/2-way double solenoid, 5/3-way and two x 3/2-way.
