Festo's new DFP range of precision guided cylinders avoid rotation under
torque loads and deflect minimally under lateral loads. Available in 35
double-acting configurations with strokes from 25 to 500mm and piston
diameters from 10 to 80mm, the new units have pistons with longitudinal
keyway slots that mesh with recirculating ball bearings for smooth
operation and very low stiction. All DFP cylinders feature adjustable end
position cushioning and built-in piston position sensing as standard.
