Non-metallic conduit system now with two-piece fittings
New from Adaptaflex is a range of two-piece fittings for the company's
Xtraflex non-metallic, PVC-based, flexible conduit system. Replacing the
previous three-part system, the new fittings are available in straight or
90o curved elbow versions in a variety of thread types and sizes. The
flexible conduit is simply pushed into the fitting and a compression nut
tightened to secure the joint.
Xtraflex is suitable for applications where twisting or torsional forces
are likely to be applied during installation. Its construction also
allows it to bend to a very tight radius, while providing an overall IP65
protection rating for the contained cabling.
