Abssac offers a vast range of lead screw sizes range from a miniature 4mm diameter up to 200mm, with a wide range of both metric and imperial leads per diameter. Cold rolled, whirled, machined or ground style lead screw formats in stainless steel, low carbon steel and exotic materials can be supplied if required.

Their antibacklash nut designs complement the complete range of lead screws, and in some cases, can be tapped to run on ball screw threads. Primarily, Abssac uses Delrin as the base material for the plastic nuts. Delrin is an acetal resin engineering plastic and is often used as a metal substitute. It is lightweight, has a low coefficient of friction, is extremely wear-resistant and capable of operating in temperatures in excess of 90ºC (approximately 200ºF).
