Tfc Holds The Soapbox Racer Together For Bertrandt

TFC holds the 'Soapbox' racer together for Bertrandt Automotive engineering services provider, Bertrandt UK is at the Goodwood Festival of Speed again this year to try to improve on its fourth place finish in last year's Roadster class. The 'Soapbox' is capable of speeds in excess of 100km/h and collisions between the racing pairs are a common occurrence, so great demands are placed on the construction and individual components. TFC is currently supplying the team with a selection of durable socket cap screws and hex nuts for the 2004 build. These are used to fasten and secure various major components throughout the chassis, including the steering column, roll cage, seat and harness mountings and aero-plates.
