Fanuc Robotics has launched a 3D simulation tool called FanucWorks, which
helpd robot cell designers to cut development and programming times.
Based on the SolidWorks CAD platform, FanucWorks can generate a robot
trajectory along virtual objects such as moving across the face of a
table, following an edge or contouring a curve. The virtual system
created can be operated to assess cycle times and to perform collision
checks.
