Laser photocells in high-grade stainless steel housings

New from ifm electronic, the latest versions of laser sensors in standard M18 housings are equipped with safe class 2 lasers and will detect objects as small as 0.5 mm across. The through-beam type will 'see' as far as 60m. Using a visible light spot and new pushbutton setting method, the sensitivity and function can be set up very quickly.

The range covers powerful through-beam systems, retroreflective types and background-suppressed diffuse to suit the most demanding applications often found in automated assembly.

All ifm electronic’s new M18 sensors, both laser and standard, feature a robust stainless-steel housing, a standard M12 connector and a wide selection of accessories to help fit, align and protect.
