Eurotherm shows key capabilities and products
Eurotherm Drives will be showing examples from its key product ranges,
including the 690+ series ac drive, the 630+ series servo drive and dc
drive products. Covering the power range, 0.37 to 355kW, the 690+
features a four-quadrant regenerative front-end. As this is fully
sinusoidal, harmonics are effectively eliminated, considerably easing
compliance with the G5/4 harmonic recommendations. Other ac drives on
display include the 650 series 'standard' range, the 650V model providing
speed control for ac induction motors up to 90kW.
The recently launched 637+ series servo drive system with optional
Hiperface encoder interface, will also be on show. These cover speeds
from 1rpm to 12,000rpm, with 16-bit resolution across this speed range.
The current loop and speed loop sampling times of 105 microseconds and
the position sampling time of 860 microseconds represent significant
improvements over previous product generations.
