Oriental Motors has added new products to its fan product portfolio, including an axial flow fan, models featuring an integral filter or alarm circuitry, and a long life fan. The MDE Series long-life fan, which has a life of 100,000 hours or more, measures only 120mm x 25mm deep and operates from a 12Vdc or 24Vdc source.
For critical applications that demand uninterrupted cooling of equipment Oriental offers two, purpose-designed fans: the MRS series (offering up to ten versions), which activates an alarm when the fan speed falls to within 8.5% of 1800rpm, and the MD series (again in various frame sizes and offering various air flows), which delivers an alarm in the event that the fan stops altogether.
A more powerful version of Oriental Motors’ MRS Series axial flow fan has also been introduced, to meet demands for frame sizes between 160 and 250mm. Running from a 230 or 115Vac mains source, it provides an alarm function to detect a drop in speed of +/- 3%.
Completing this quartet of introductions is the FM Series filter fan, which is designed to provide cooling to IP55 and particulate protection to IP43. The fan can be supplied separately from the filter and cover, allowing it to be installed separately in the host cabinet.
