Enclosures situated in harsh environments need extra protection. Rittal’s range of stainless steel enclosures offers a high resistance against contamination and corrosion, are easy to clean and are suitable for hygienically sensitive applications. The series includes 304 grade wall and floor standing enclosures, from small terminal boxes to large TS8 bay systems, as well as human machine interface consoles and kiosks. For more aggressive environments such as marine, pharmaceutical manufacturing or the petrochemical industry, the stainless steel range also includes enclosures in 314 grade stainless steel.
For environments where high pressure and tough cleaning methods are frequently used, Rittal’s IP69K stainless steel enclosures provide ultimate protection against water ingress. Tested and certified to 100bar at 80ºC, the enclosures are designed to mount control gear on the inner door and protect the internal equipment after the door has been closed. The IP69K range includes human machine interfaces, operating panels with built in TFT screens and terminal enclosures.
