Virtual wiring solutions from Sprint Electric

Sprint Electric, will be exhibiting its range of digital drives at the SPS Exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, from 22- 24 November 2016.

Situated in Hall 1, Stand 458, Sprint Electric will be exhibiting the recently upgraded PL/X range of digital DC drives. With 2Q/4Q drives rated up to 2250Amps/980kW, the PL/X features an all-new DSP processor capable of executing 16 x 16-bit in less than 135ns. Overall, this provides 10x-improved bandwidth together with an improved resolution analogue reference input.

Sprint Electric will also be exhibiting the JL/X range of digital AC slip ring motor controllers. Based on the PL/X hardware platform, the JL/X provides an ideal retrofit platform to improve performance of large AC slip ring motors up to 975kW on a wide range of applications such as cranes, hoists, printing presses, elevators, compressors, lifts and pumps.

In addition to a wide range of drives, Sprint Electric will be exhibiting its automation platform capable of reducing panel wiring. Ideal for Systems Integrators wishing to reduce panel build cost, the DW221 embedded automation platform allows integrators to virtually connect drives, PLC’s, sensors and HMI’s and substantially reduce the need for panel wiring and hence cost.
