'Flat' motors offer high power to space ratio
New from the Farnell catalogue is a 'flat-type' ac motor range offering
compactness and low weight, plus a high power to space ratio in a low
profile package. Both single-phase (EBF) and three-phase (DKF) versions
are available.
A radial fan provides surface cooling of the motor body via deep fins,
thus giving the unit a high degree of utilisation. As well as the
standard products, special versions offer alternative voltages and
frequencies, integrated brake with sensor and a B14 flange. The motors
