Panasonic MINAS-BL series servo drives and motors

The Panasonic range of MINAS-BL (brushless) servo drives and motors an economical series of servo drive products, offering all the advantages of higher performance servo technology.

• Less power dissipation thanks to increased efficiency:
Compared with the input power of a conventional micro gear motor (90W), a permanent magnet in the rotor reduces the secondary loss considerably. Energy-savings help to reduce costs and make a valuable contribution towards protecting the climate and the environment.
• Saving space thanks to a compact design:
The “split core structure” has been specially developed for the MINAS series range of AC servo motors. The structure not only significantly reduces the size (by approx. 55 percent) and the weight (by approx. 25 percent) of a previous generation compact geared motor, but also increases the output power.
• Save on installation and maintenance costs:
Thanks to the low-wear brushless motor technology, maintenance intervals can be reduced drastically. In addition, the setting software PANATERM for MINAS-BL speeds up commissioning and reduces the time spent on configuring the machines. During operation, the software allows for easy setting or adjusting of parameters and analysis of the operational data.
