Goss Components specialises in making small high precision springs and formed metal components and assemblies. Founded in 1954 by Thomas and Edward Goss, the company currently employs 110 people in some 10,000m² of premises and produces over 600 million items per annum.
Whether the requirement is for a simple helical spring or a complex multi-stage pressing with precious metal contacting and sub-assembly, we offer a wealth of experience, supplying customers throughout the United Kingdom, Europe the Far East and the Americas.
Of particular value to many of our customers is our design and technical advisory service, which can be bought into play at concept stage to develop an initial idea for the production of prototypes and one-off applications.
Goss Components is certified to ISO 9001 and is currently working to gain TS 16949 (Automotive) with a view to obtaining AS9100 (Aerospace) on completion of TS16949 accreditation. Goss Components are also members of, or associated with a number of trade organisations or governing bodies.
At the same time as updating their quality system, in 2008 Goss Components is committed to updating and expanding its website. This will include spring design software, possible supplier stock updates, a section dedicated to the sale of products such as parts, surplus machinery and possibly material.
