The new ultra-compact, RoHS compliant coin vibrator motor from Nicomatic is available in 8mm and 10mm diameters and sits with a mere 3.4 ± 0.2 mm profile. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, including mobile phones, pagers, medical instruments, toys, PDA's, shavers and personal alarms.
They have a 3VDC rated voltage with an operating voltage range of 2.5 – 3.5 VDC, along with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and a storage temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
As standard with 32 AWG wires, the motors are also available with pre-assembled industry standard connectors, with the 8mm coin motor running at 13500 revs per minute in both CW and CCW direction. Mechanical noise from the 10mm motor is measured at 42dBA/10cm.
