The Panasonic range of ac geared motors is available in a power range 6-90W with compact dimensions. Helical gearing results in high efficiency for a small geared motor, typically around 70%. Worm geared designs of similar power tend to have efficiency levels 20-30% lower. In multiple motor installations, this can lead to significant energy savings.
Panasonic geared motors are particularly easy to use. Smart appearance and IP54 enclosure means they can be used on many machines without covers or repainting. They can be mounted in any position. The low wear helical toothing also results in quiet operation and a long life.
The whole range is available to be built from stock components at Lenze. This includes six power increments and a wide choice of speeds - from 0.7 to 400r/min output speeds - with 21 intermediate ratios. Motors are available for one or three phase supply. In addition, quick reversing and brake motors are available for intermittent applications. Gearbox designs are square or flanged and an optional set of feet are available.
