Camozzi Pneumatics has launched a new range of linear actuators (Series QX) for automation applications requiring guided linear movement.
The double rod cylinder, with its integrated guides, facilitates a double force, non-rotating and precise movement from one compact unit. Available in a full range of piston diameters, each also has a choice of guide versions: sintered bronze bushes or linear ball bearings, depending on the application in question.
The versatility of Series QX is further increased with the existence of air ports on two sides of the cylinder body, which provide engineers with a wider range of installation options. The different mounting options, along with compact dimensions and reduced weight, make Series QX cylinders particularly suitable for use in robotic and pick-and-place systems.
Series QX offers an economic and high performance option for many automation applications, particularly when compared to the alternative of using conventional cylinders with external guides.
