Renold Gears has published a new eight-page guide to its full range of open and enclosed gears, custom gears and gearbox refurbishment services.

The new guide covers worm gear units, helical/bevel gear units, and open gear sets manufactured using the renowned Renold-Holroyd gear form, to commercial and high precision standards for extreme accuracy and minimum backlash.

Amongst Renold’s open gear solutions is the company’s latest innovation, Ren-Adjust, a high-precision adjustment mechanism for dual lead gear sets that is extremely simple to operate by comparison to other systems. It enables precise adjustment without any additional machining operations and therefore reduces downtime whenever an adjustment needs to be made.

The brochure also details the company’s unique design and manufacturing services and project management to produce solutions for customers’ specific applications. This includes package drives, replacement gearboxes designed as drop-in replacements for obsolete units, and gearboxes for critical applications where design verification is essential.
