Camozzi Pneumatics has launched a new range of valve islands called Series H to further expand its portfolio of automation products. Series H valve islands have been specifically designed to be small, light and versatile.
The extensive range of options and inherent flexibility, both in terms of pneumatic and electrical connections, make Series H valve islands suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Multipole or fieldbus electrical connections are available with Profibus DP, CanOpen or DeviceNet protocols supported. Integration is made easy as all pneumatic and electrical connections are made from the same face of the valve island.
Versatility is maximised as Series H allows a combination of valve sizes (10.5 and 21mm), with different flow rates (450Nl/min & 700Nl/min) on the same compact valve island. In addition, multiple valve versions can be combined on the same island: 2/2, 3/2, 5/2, 5/3 in mono and bistable, thus providing engineers with a great deal of flexibility and freedom.
Its compact construction, in combination with its reduced weight, also make Series H suitable for applications where space is limited and where the valves need to be located close to the actuators in order to reduce the effective response time and better utilise the high flow rates of the valves.
With valve bodies in polymer and the base in aluminium, both strength and lightness are guaranteed. The solenoids also use the latest technology resulting in reduced dimensions and reduced power consumption (0.5W).
The high protection class (IP65) also makes Series H suitable for use in the packaging and food industry. Furthermore, the external body has been designed to enable easy cleaning. These valve islands are also aesthetically enhanced with integrated silencers.
