Emka's new three-point cam adapter converts a low cost, single-point cam into a cam for a three-point locking system, giving enclosure manufacturers a much reduced stock requirement for varying cabinet door sizes. The 1000 cam adapter is a precision zinc die-cast component, which can be used with the entire range of Emka 1000 quarter-turn locks, where a standard single-point cam is appropriate. The unit is fixed by a single bolt and, when installed, provides two more closure points along the door edge for improved sealing and security.
