A common problem experienced when installing locks into non-metal doors - particularly GRP doors and panels - is ensuring a secure fitting that cannot rotate. Emka has come up with a solution to this problem in the form of its DPR product. This allows simple punching/cutting of a round hole followed by the fitting of an anti-rotational adapter, which provides secure location for a standard Emka lock with its rounded corner square body. The DPR has a simple two-pin location and can be used either as a 'first-fit' or as a 'post-fit' operation, especially on difficult materials or for moulding into GRP doors.
