EMKA's 1091 System tackles the difficult problem of installing hinges and
locks/handles into cabinets with hollow or insulated doors. It comprises
a door handle with quarter-turn lock and a matching handle without a
lock, plus a 130o hinge set. The units are located via a plastic rivet
system that allows blind fixing without rear access. The pull handles sit
in an oval cut-out and use fast fixing plastic rivets on the outer door
skin, whereas the pull handle with quarter-turn lock also needs a square
cut-out on the inner door skin to facilitate cam closure.
