Embedded system board based on Intel 6th Generation Skylake processor

BVM announced the LV67-S, an embedded system board which offers a 30 percent performance improvement and power reduction over Ivy Bridge based units.

The LV-67S is aimed at graphics-rich, heavy computing environments where low power consumption is also a primary requirement for fanless operation in kiosks and similar environments. The LV-67S supports the Intel 6th Generation Skylake i7/i5/i3 series and Xeon E3-1200 v5 processors, running under the Intel C236 chipset and mounted into a new format LGA 1151 socket. Two DDR4 DIMM memory  modules up to 32GB running at 1866/2133 MHz can be fitted.

The platform is based on Intel HD Graphics 530 that provides high-end media and graphics capabilities for devices that display videos, 2D/3D graphics and interactive content. In addition, LV-67S supports DVI-I, Display port, HDMI, CRT and LVDS to provide its advanced solutions for imaging, machine vision and digital signage applications.

Extensive I/O is available. Four SATA3 ports supporting RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10, a PCIe x16 port, a full size and half size PCIE Mini card ports with optional mSATA support, a SIM slot, two Gigabit LAN ports, six USB ports and six serial ports are provided as standard.
