Omron NX7 Machine Automation Controller focuses on the future

Omron’s NX7 controller offers high speed processing, providing scalability beyond that offered by traditional PLCs, allowing the development of cutting-edge systems.

Expanding its range of Sysmac Machine Automation Controllers, this flagship model offers speed without compromising reliability, and provides the industry's fastest processing speed* thanks to the Intel Core i7 quad-core processor. Focusing on more sophisticated production environments, Omron developed this integrated platform to provide scalability beyond the framework of previous controllers and PLCs.

The new NX7 controller offers enhanced performance and functionality, with the possibility to connect up to 256 synchronised motion axes, and more significantly two synchronised motion cores allowing prioritisation of key elements in the machine control system, with cycle times of 125µs possible. Other enhancements include connection for up to 512 EtherCAT nodes, and two EtherNet/IP ports accommodating intensive Ethernet network traffic.
