High-end servo completes Lenze’s 9400 series

Lenze has completed it 9400 servo drive range with a new single axis drive rated to 695A (1,250A peak). There are now 22 models in this series, starting at 0.37kW and extending to 370kW. All offer a plug-in safety module option that provides safe stopping under power, safe jog and safety limited speed, meeting EN954-1 requirements.

The 9400 drive comes in two versions, the lower cost StateLine model for systems with centralised control and the HighLline, featuring built-in memory and fieldbus. Drive software is also scalable, with the free-of-charge, entry level ‘L-force Engineer’ suiting the majority of servo applications.

Highline drives have built-in CANopen fieldbus at no extra charge, while additional fieldbuses can be added as required via plug-in modules, including Ethernet TCP/IP and Profibus. Ethernet Powerlink and Profinet plug-in modules are also available for multi-axis, high-speed motion control applications.
