Comau and B&R assimilate robotics into machine control

With the introduction of openROBOTICS, partners Comau and B&R have introduced a system of robotics integration for machinery and production lines. The system covers Comau's complete robot range, handling payloads from 3 to 650kg.

Comau robots can now be completely and seamlessly integrated into machines and production lines equipped with B&R automation components.

A customer simply selects the desired Comau robot from within B&R's Automation Studio engineering environment, and the robot is then easily incorporated within - and synchronized to - the machine's automation software.
