M8 connectors for smaller cable applications

binder's range of M8 connectors has been enhanced with the introduction of cable connectors suitable for small cables of between 3.0 and 3.5mm in diameter for shielded cables in many sensor and control applications.

The range has a nickel-plated brass body containing gold-plated solder contacts to accommodate wires between 0.08 to 0.34mm2 (AWG 28 to AWG 22). The cable screen is terminated to the body via a shielding ring. Three and four pole versions are available and the connector is shielded and protected to IP67 when mated and will find many applications with inductive sensors in instrumentation and controls systems.
