HBM adds flexible module to QuantumX amplifier system

HBM has added the flexible MX460B four channel digital pulse and frequency module to its QuantumX measuring amplifier system.

Like other models available from the QuantumX range, the MX460B features outstanding flexibility and offers excellent measurement performance and ease of use.

As a growing number of modern drives demand flexible and reliable test-bench measurement technology, the MX460B digital pulse and frequency module, features four channels which can all be individually configured and used to measure torque, rotational speed, angle position and displacement.

Suitable for test bench applications used in the development of electric drives, combustion engines or hybrid drives or, in general, in machines with rotating shafts, the new module enables changes in measurement values with a maximum bandwidth of 40 kHz to be easily analysed in the high accuracy class of up to 0.01.

In addition the module also resolves digital frequency signals for torque and rotational speed by interpolating and extrapolating at data rates of 100 kS/s per measurement channel, therefore ensuring a loss-free digital measuring chain.

Also available from HBM is a wide range of data acquisition modules for special measurement tasks such as MK403B, MX1601B, MX1609 and MX1615B.  These modules enable a wide range of different measurement quantities to be acquired reliably and simultaneously using one single device.

The QuatumX data acquisition system (DAQ) from HBM is a universal new-generation data acquisition system which enables reliable data acquisition of signals from different measurement quantities and sensor technologies.
