binder mobile app simplifies connector selection

binder claims to be the first industrial connector company to introduce a mobile ‘app’ for product selection. Available for Apple and Android devices it works equally well on smartphones and tablets.

The app offers an intuitive user interface, allowing fast access to technical information and product data with options that include search by product family, series or part number. The app also allows product datasheets to be emailed or printed wirelessly.

A powerful product search feature allows engineers specifying new applications to select connectors by attributes such as electrical properties, locking method, physical dimensions, temperature resistance and IP rating.

To access, users simply search the App Store or Google Play for ‘binder connector’; download and it immediately connects to a mobile.
