Schaeffler UK has added a linear ball bearing guide-way and ball screw drive to its MKUVE range. Offering high positional accuracy and speeds of up to 2.5m/s, the new MKUVE20-KGT will move moderate loads while supporting high moment loads about all three axes. The module incorporates Schaeffler’s recirculating ball guidance system with two carriages, and is driven by a ball screw drive, which has a nominal spindle diameter of 20mm, a pitch of 5mm, 10mm, 20mm or 50mm. The spindle is supported by an axial, angular contact ball bearing from Schaeffler’s ‘ZKLF’ series.
