New products added to lightning arrester range

Two variants have been added to Phoenix Contact's Flashtrab SEC-PLUS type-1 lightning current arrester range, which features Safe Energy Control Technology (SEC).

The Flashtrab SEC-PLUS 440 product variant is suitable for industrial applications with 440/690V networks or 400V power supply systems. This compact variant can be used up to 400A without an additional back-up fuse. The Flashtrab SEC-PLUS 350 variant is used in the pre-metering area of the main feed. It is back-up fuse-free and can be used up to 315A.

Like any other SEC family type-1 arrester, the Flashtrab SEC-PLUS devices are also type-2 arrester tested and certified.
