Engine test platform from HBM

HBM has introduced a technology platform for engine testing that offers noise-free measurement and precise process control.

The PMX measuring amplifier system is incorporated into the new platform and combines with HBM torque sensors to provide efficient test processes for a range of automotive applications. PMX generates characteristic quantities such as power, mean and peak values and also torque.

PMX data acquisition and control capabilities cover force, torque, vibration, pressure, strain, temperature, voltage, current, frequency, speed, angle of rotation, rotational direction and others.
