Multi-positional gas spring features internal pre-set friction control valve

The ‘Stop & Stay+’ from Camloc Motion Control provides the ability to fix an application in any position, angle or distance without the need for an external friction device or release mechanism.

Stop & Stay+ gas springs enable multi-position holding of a counter-balanced weight, without the need for any manual adjustment. The specially-designed internal friction valve is pre-set to the application’s weight.

Once fitted, finger tip control allows movement to any position along the gas spring’s stroke, so users can raise, lower and position a canopy, for example, in any position with the minimum amount of effort.

The new product is vailable in two sizes – 8mm rod diameter to 18mm tube, and 10mm rod diameter to 23mm tube.
