SKF releases upgraded version of third generation hub bearing unit

SKF has introduced the latest version of its third generation hub bearing unit (HBU3), which features reduced preload range to reduce friction by up to 10 percent.

The third generation hub bearing unit was developed in collaboration with leading automotive OEMs and is easy to install and replace. The development follows SKF’s recent launch of a low friction grease and high performance seal, which are already consolidated technology on the third generation hub bearing unit.
