Lightweight rotary actuator and sensor

Festo has introduced a semi-rotary vane drive – the DRVS – with a sensor that can be fitted in seconds.

The drive has a simple and compact lightweight design and delivers high torque of up to 20Nm with an infinitely adjustable swivel angle. The SRBS magnetic, non-contacting sensor is an encapsulated unit that can be quickly assembled and screwed into place. Switching points can be 'taught' at the press of a button.
