The Convel 42024B DIN rail mounted linear power supply from Calex Electronics offers 96W of power in a robust DIN-rail mounted enclosure. The enclosure is a two-part metal design, where the base consists of a robust but light weight aluminium extrusion. This combines rigidity and strength with good thermal conductivity and forms the DIN-rail mounting channel. The cover is made of folded sheet steel and is ventilated to assist thermal convection. All input and output connections are made via heavy duty screw clamp connectors which are capable of accepting cables up to 10mm².
The 42024B offers a smooth 24V DC output at up to 4A. The output has less than 5mV rms ripple and has a voltage tolerance of ±0.5% maximum. The output is also fully protected against short circuits and overload. Load regulation for this model runs at ±0.2% for a 50% load change, and line regulation is ±0.05% for a 10% line change. The input is link selectable for either 115 or 230V AC (±10%) at 50/60Hz.
